As a humorous interpretation of the „Allegory of the Cave“, Plato combines the gameplay of a 2D platformer and a 3D puzzle. While the character roams freely through the 3D environment, the shadow can only reach the exit if no other silhouettes block its way. Plato is also an analogy to a game design student’s transition from 2D and 3D games, giving a nod to the Beatnik era with its distinct jazz score.
