In this intensive one-week lecture, I introduced students to the field of Game User Experience (UX) Research. The course provided a comprehensive introduction to essential UX research principles and methodologies, emphasizing hands-on learning.

Providing first-hand experience from my work as a ︎Game UX Researcher at ︎THQ Nordic. , students learn how to conduct UX research on their own projects as well as apply usability heuristics when analyzing game prototypes.

By the end of the course, students were able to create functional surveys, analyze the results, and conduct player observations as well as short player experience interviews.
